Not many women are smiling now at Edmonton-Calder Conservative MLA Doug Elniski.
He’s apologized for posting online the incredibly sexist text of a speech he gives at Grade 9 graduation ceremonies.
Creepy Uncle Doug’s “advice” for the young women was:
“Ladies, always smile when you walk into a room, there is nothing a man wants less than a woman scowling because he thinks he is going to get shit for something and has no idea what.”
“Men are attracted to smiles, so smile, don’t give me that ‘treated equal’ stuff. If you want Equal, it comes in little packages at Starbucks.”
The Premier’s decided that Mr. Elniski having to apologize to the lowly girls he offended is punishment enough. After all Grade 9s can’t use their fake ids to vote.
I just can’t let this go without giving Mr. Elniski a little “advice” in return.
“Creep, always keep your mouth shut when you walk into a room. There is nothing a woman wants less than a blathering, unfunny, sexist man because she knows she is going to have to give him shit.”
