The hands-down best part of the Golden Globes on Sunday was Mo’Nique’s acceptance speech when she won best supporting actress in a dramatic movie ‘Precious’. (Warning: some of these links contain spoilers.)

‘Precious’ is based on the novel Push by Sapphire is about an abused, illiterate, poor, pregnant black teen. Precious gets transferred to an alternative school where she finds the support to start standing up for herself.
I haven’t read the book or seen the movie, yet. I so want too, but I’m also a little afraid it might completely break my heart.
