'Sno way that's snow

It's snowing today in Northumberland County.

Take a minute to digest that.

It's Oct. 21 and it's snowing.

And not those sort-of-rain-sort-of-snow pellets — the real deal, fluffy white flakes.

And I think I'm going to be sick.

Weren't we tortured enough with the 2007/08 never-ending winter, that we have to be punished even earlier than normal this year?

Eventually, I always get used to the snow, and sometimes even enjoy it. In fact, I'm sure I'll be playing in it plenty this year, as Layne is sure to be a big fan.

But today, Oct. 21, I'm not happy. It's way, way too early for this junk. Especially when we spent our weekend doing this ...

But, we also spent some time in the house too. Here's Layne helping Mom bake bread and clean the floor (I would have helped with both, but I was busy running the camera).

Nice Autumn pics. Hopefully you get a chance for more before the snow shovelling ones appear....
