What constitutes to how you have and how much you've changed over the years?
On the outside, it can be your look. You can change your hair, your style, how you present yourself. It can be on the inside. How you view yourself. How you want others to view you. Personality-wise, you can change. There always has to be a catalyst. A movement that inspires you to want to be something you vie for.
Experiences shape you to who you are today. Moments your heart has beated at it's fullest, where it has nearly lost strength, moments it's strings have been pulled, or completely torn into pieces, worn on your sleeve, or just worn out. You're heart has taken you places you wanted to be in the past, and where you want to go in the future.
Whether or not you've changed in a day, a week, month or year; everyone does so. You can think back and barely remember who you once were. Memories that have faded into black and white specks, that skip in places like an old Charlie Chaplin film. Or you can think back and remember who you were yesterday ask yourself if you still want to be them.
Are you looking back at yourself and wanting it back, or pushing yourself further from them?
Are you happier? You should be. It's your life.
Hold it and embrace it. Let your heart lead you, and let it be full. Be yourself and make sure every change is for the better.
If there is one thing that can bring you back to the person you were, it is the getting together with old friends that you haven't seen for years. It's scary how it all come back - the good and the bad.
